For my Skywatch Friday I have some more of the skies over Gettysburg and a cool looking hawk.
Except for the wind we had a beautiful day at Gettysburg. The sky was a beautiful blue with the puffy white clouds.
A watchful eye and a blue sky! I am guessing this is a Red Shouldered Hawk. But, I have been known to be wrong.
To see more beautiful skies from around the world please visit Skywatch Friday. Thanks to the hosting groups of Sylvia, Sandy and Wren. I hope you enjoyed my skies and I wish everyone a great weekend.

Great blue skies behind the bird which is a cute one. The puffy white clouds always make the sky interesting as does the fine statues.
ReplyDeleteThe skies were beautiful, Eileen, but that hawk! I LOVE the closeup. He definitely has his eye on you...I think red-shouldered also, but, like you, I have occasionally been wrong! Lovely photos this morning!

Beautiful skies that offset the grandeur of the statues, Eileen. Quite appropriate that you also included the hawk photos. Very nice!
