Hello, I am linking up with Mosaic Monday and Our World Tuesday
These shots were all taken earlier today Sept. 23 just walking around my yard. I still have some flowers blooming. There was one waterlily, the morning glories, and just one Stella D'oro lily. And just because they attract the warblers the pokeberry, we are letting the pokeberry grow close to our deck.
Above is my warbler attracting pokeberry, the female hummer is still here, my latest new yardbird the Black-throated Green Warbler, waterlily.
My newest yardbird the Black-throated Green Warbler, it is a beautiful warbler.
My pretty female Hummingbird.
I forget what this plant is called, but it has these pretty pink blooms.
Above is one Stella D'oro lily, a view of my side yard, chickadee, impatiens and morning glories.
My cute chickadee at one of my popular birdfeeders.
Just one pretty Stella D'oro lily decided to bloom for the end of summer.
We recently had to remove a pine tree it was a little TOO close to the house. During a heavy snowstorm the branches were knocking up against our bedroom wall. Just the sound was scary to hear, much the thought of large branch crashing onto our roof.
My newest warbler yardbird is so pretty, I have to show another shot of him.

ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, Oh, how I enjoyed these pretty photos! Have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteThe warblers are always so colorful and pretty. We had one hit our window this week and I got a photo of it up close. It was just stunned and flew away after a little rest! We were so glad!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the picture of the hummingbird! But all the pictures are just wonderful! Have a wonderful week! Cathy
ReplyDeleteLove the warblers, hummingbird and chickadee. Your shot of the female hummingbird is the best I've ever seen and I see a bee is trying to get some of the nectar as well.
ReplyDeleteJudith
What a great collection of birds and flowers you have there!
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful yard attracting such lovely birds.
ReplyDeleteI love to see the birds coming to the feeders. Today was a busy day out here with the birds flying in and out. There was a hummingbird in the zinnias this morning. It is getting pretty cold for them now. Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe birds are as lovely as the flowers. Those berries near your deck must give you lots of action. I had just one Stella D'oro today as well and one yesterday, and maybe one tomorrow. They are wonderful like a spot of bright sunshine. I was surprised that they weren't done when I first thought they were done.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen the warbler, so pretty. Lucky you. Have a wonderful week:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I should go find some poke berries and shoot some photos. Yours are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI am always astounded at your bird photos. So gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTaking that tree down sounds like a good idea, especially with winter coming. Will it let more light into your house as well?
The warbler is adorable! so that's what you call it pokeberry. My puppies get the berries all over them. They come in and I think they're bleeding haha. The other plant I think it's Sweet William. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThere's still a lot going on in your garden. Love that little warbler!

Hi Eileen,
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous! I want hummingbirds and warblers like you have :-) Just a gorgeous - no stunning photo of that female hummingbird. She didn't even know you were there.
I would love to live in your backyard, so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI probably sitting in a chair with camera in my hand waiting to photograph those gorgeous critters :-)
The black-throated green warbler shots are my favorites! He looks so beautiful against the purples and fuscias of the pokeberry with his yellow throat! The hummingbird shot is also VERY nice, and it looks like she is sharing her nectar with a honeybee. Great shots all!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely birds and flowers surely make for a beautiful world, Eileen!! I love your captures for the day! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove all your birds, Eileen, especially the warbler. I was guessing the pink shrub is spirea - I see someone else said so. I have the same shrub.
