Here are a few of my favorite ducks..seen at Edwin Forsythe NWR. Above is the pretty Northern Pintail.




Another one of my favorites is the Hooded Merganser. I hope your enjoy my ducks and I hope you enjoy the critter party.


The Common Loon were plentiful at the Barnegat Beach.



The Red-breasted Merganser, they have a shaggy crest..

  8. Ducks always remind me of when my children were young and would go to the park with their stale bread and feed the ducks. They loved it.

  25. The hooded merganser is a unique looking duck. This summer I'm going to pay more attention to the ducks on our inland lake and see if I can identify some.

  37. I always love to see your duck photos Eileen. While Merganzers are one of my favorites it's the Pintails that have caught my eye. I have never seen those here.

  52. Really turn a beautiful blog with various fantasitsche ducks. The pintail ducks, I also jog never actually seen but the Hooded Merganser not. The large mergansers I have seen and for the first time the red-breasted merganser. Very nice blog Eileen :-)
