Week's Favorite above and the letter G.... I am sharing these two photos above and below from Ocean City of a Cormorant and a Gull.
My Gull lineup in front of various fences. How many different fences do you see?
Another favorite for my photo hunt and skywatch. A neat looking sky over the bay side at Assateague Island.
The USA and Maryland flags at the Assateague Island visitor center.
One of the many yellow-rumped Warblers we saw at Assateague.
The boardwalk trail at Assateague.
A couple of horses seen near the tree and behind the bushes. I hope you enjoyed this post and photos. Thanks for visiting and for the nice comments.

Hello Eileen!:) Love the Cormorant and Gull picture, and the yellow bird, nice views over the water, and the walkway with what looks like a very well made sturdy fence. That last shot of the tree and horse with the wide exspanse of water in the background is a pretty scene.:)
ReplyDeleteI rather like that shot of the gull and cormorant on the posts - it has a nice symmetry.
ReplyDeletecheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

I love that tree shape with the horses and the water in the background. Lovely images!
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen! In looking at your great photos, I've just realized that I've never seen a Cormorant before. Something else to add to that bucket list! :-) Hope you've had a good week and are ready for the cold, which has to be better than snow, right??!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like five fences? I was surprised to see a Cormorant, maybe two, and another bird sitting in a fountain/pond in front of a high school as I drove by. Of course, I had to BE somewhere, and did't have my camera, either! Enjoy your weekend. It looks like a cold one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful grouping of photos... especially like your skywatch shot for this week!
ReplyDeleteA great series of photos! My favorite is the Boardwalk
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Lea
Another fabulous selection.
ReplyDeleteI love the way that Cormorant does seem to pose.
The boardwalk is another favourite picture and that tree, something about it I just like ... perhaps the horses help too!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful places, beautiful pictures! I love boardwalks... My fav bird this time is the warbler ... I never can get decent pics of the little guys when I see them in our nature walks. Thanks for yours!
ReplyDeleteI could spend a lot of time here! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific boardwalk (I love boardwalks!). You certainly find interesting places to visit and explore, Eileen. Lovely skies, too.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Eileen. Thanks for sharing your gulls and cormorant on the posts and those blue sky photos. Are those yellow-rumped Warblers on their way back north now? - I hope so because it means that Spring is on the way. It has been a dreadful winter for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThat mighty tree in the marsh makes those horses look tiny but I'm sure thet're not.
Have a great weekend.
I really like the photo with the horses, not for the horses but because of the gorgeous tree!! It looks so majestic!! Happy Valentine's Day!

ReplyDeleteLove your shots, Eileen.
ReplyDeleteIt's been forver since I was on Assateague. I don't think they had nice boardwalks like that back in the 1970s...

ReplyDeleteThese are all so beautiful! Love that last shot of the tree and ponies. I visited the island once many years ago, and I would dearly love to return and camp there under the full moon. It's such a beautiful place. Thank you so much for joining in Friday's Hunt.
ReplyDeleteI love the timber walkway... the leading lines are great! I also love the Cormorant and Gull on the posts.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
You've done well to incorporate a number of memes in one post Eileen. I've been seeing birds on my morning walks in Florida but just enjoy them for I haven't a clue what they are.
ReplyDeleteHubby and I drove to two nature preserves and everyone must have been in hiding. All the shots I was hoping to get, didn't happen.
Beautiful photos. Your Cormorant looks so noble.
ReplyDeleteR. Täysin arkista
