My bird photos are from January 4th, this male Cardinal was enjoying the sunflower seeds I spread out on a table.

The Pine Warbler was checking out the Sunflower seed feeder. You can see some snow coming down on this day.

  2. The food bar deli is open again, even on snow. They are so happy to come for a feed, I'm sure they have an inbuilt instinct to know where to come.

  9. The beautiful male Cardinal and the other birds must have been happy to find sunflower seeds in the feeder. Must have been cold and hungry. We are having 22 deg. C over here and I need to wear long sleeves and long pants.

  10. Hello Eileen, thanks for sharing your bird feeder birds. I'm wondering if warblers and other smaller birds eat the sunflower seeds. Thanks for hosting this meme; you'll notice I have real critters today. Thanks that I can post here even if I don't always have wild critters now I don't get outdoors too regularly. Have a great day. Keep yourself warm. Jo

  19. I’m back after a long vacation visiting daighter and family. While visiting British Columbia we saw lots of new and different birds, ducks and water birds, Love your photos, I’ve got to work hard to entice the birds back to the garden, made all season suet and filled the feeders and they are slowly returning.

  20. Hi Eileen. Just the same here - the sunflower seeds are the most popular with birds. they are the most expensive bird seed too so I use them sparingly and try not to let any go to waste. Good to see you found time for your camera despite the falling snow.

Thanks for hosting today. It's much appreciated.

  59. Hi Eileen, I am giving it my best, going to try and visit more, but it is just so hard with my computer and the scroll down bar being so slow. The songbirds are so sweet. We have so many that we are feeding right now and I just take my photos through the glass window. I hope that you enjoy your week~
