Gulp!!!!! That egret is enjoying his dinner... Great pictures, Elieen. I'd much rather see an egret eating a snake than to see some pictures I saw last week on a blog of a snake eating some kind of big bird (Australia)... GAG!!!

Eileen, these are great shots. I love bird watching. I've never seen this type of bird in real life. They sure are fascinating.

what a lot of egrets. In New Zealand, In Maori, they are called KOTUKU. My office is bname KOTUKU room. Even has a picture so the kids know where to go.
