What's blooming ?

 Happy Wednesday!

I wish everyone a happy month of June!  These are some images of the blooms around my yard and on our deck.

The rhododendron blooms are coming to an end now, but this is how they looked in peak bloom.

The Siberian Irises are one of my favorites.

The White waterlilies are looking beautiful, the little pond is crowded with the lily pads.

A few species of Clematis in our yard, the blooms are beautiful.  They are different shades of purple.

I am not sure if this is called Deborah Dahl Clematis

I think the clematis is Jackmanni.

I like this Tickseed, Coreopsis it is a new plant this year in our yard.

On our deck, I always like to have some plants that the hummingbirds and butterflies enjoy, below are the hibiscus, salvia and a pot of zinnias.

Another new plant we bought this year is called Catmint- Walker's Low

Wyatt is growing quickly, such a cutie!

What growing in your garden?  Have a great day and week ahead!

Thanks for your visits and comments!

Happy Thankful Thursday!

 Happy Thursday everyone!

I am sharing some of the plants and blooms around our yard.
The rhododendrons are blooming like crazy, the Clematis is looking beautiful and the Siberian Iris are looking lovely too.  It seems most of our blooms are purple colors, one of my favorite colors beside blue.

I am linking up with Lydia of Where the Wild Things Were and the Favorite Fotos linky.

"May your day be blessed with an abundance of peace, love and gratitude.

"Peace begins with love and respect."

I have 3 hummingbird feeders setup around the garden and yard, they are close to the butterfly bush and irises.

One of the bigger bull frogs near our pond, one day I saw 3 of these frogs sitting around our little pond.

The clematis is very pretty on our fence, one of my favorite vine plants.  The photos do not show just how pretty this color really is in person.

I would like to see the whole fence covered with this clematis below. It looks beautiful.

This clematis is a different species growing at the edge of our driveway.

"May all beings everywhere, be happy and free."

I am thankful to see all these pretty blooms around our yard.

I can not figure out why my camera shows our rhododendrons as being more pinkish,  they are really more of a light purple or lavender color.

This photo below shows more of the actual color of our rhododendrons.

I always like including a bird on my post, this is the female Red-bellied Woodpecker.  She is a daily visitor to my yard.

My sky shot for the day, white puffy clouds seen above my yard. I think we have had more cloudy days than sunny lately, I am thankful for the sunshine whenever it appears..

Just wondering, how is the shopping in your area? Are you finding everything you want and need? I am thankful so far we have everything we need. One thing I can not find for a few weeks now is yeast.  I wanted to try a bread recipe and I can not find yeast anywhere.  Some things like the disinfectant wipes and some cleaning supplies have never been in stock.  Luckily we had these in stock at home.

My latest books are:
Jacqueline Winspear's Elegy for Eddie, the Maisie Dobbs series # 9
Breath of Scandal by Sandra Brown
The Cuckoo's Calling the 1st in the Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith a pseudonym J.K.Rowling

I hope everyone is staying safe, happy and healthy! I am always thankful hubby and I are both doing well!

I am always thankful for your visits and the comments.

Our World, My World

Happy Monday,

I wanted to share some of the blooms we have growing in our yard and a few of the annuals on our deck.  I bought some herbs to grow in pots along with the mint I have growing.  I try to buy annuals that the hummingbird and butterflies love, like the Lantana, Zinnias and the Fuchsia.

"Mother Nature has the best box of crayons."

It was a great year for our Clematis blooms, we have two different species. One I forget the name and the other is called Jackmanii Clematis.

Various annuals are planted in pots for the deck, like the Lantana, Fuchsia and some Zinnias.

This is the Jackmanii Clematis, we have the honeysuckle running wild around the yard.  It is bad when it takes over but smells so good.

"Life is a garden, Dig it."

We were happy to see our Siberian Irises return this year, they are one of my favorite blooms.

The birds like to land on top of the pergola before going to the feeders, I caught this White-breasted Nuthatch getting ready to hop over to the feeder.

The male Cardinal seems to be getting used to me putting out food for the birds, he will now land on the deck while I am out there. I think he wants to be first eating the food.

Thanks for your visit today!  I hope you enjoyed my post and photos.
