Beautiful photos Eileen and wonderful timing.
Fabulous shots! That egret's appetite will be satisfied for some time, I think :-)
It must have posed for you.
Great set of shots!
That's an amazing sequence of the egret eating. Great shots.
Gulp!!!!! That egret is enjoying his dinner... Great pictures, Elieen. I'd much rather see an egret eating a snake than to see some pictures I saw last week on a blog of a snake eating some kind of big bird (Australia)... GAG!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Nice pics. :) Any bird that gets rid of snakes is okay by me!
Terrific capture! He is having a great big lunch.

Eileen, these are great shots. I love bird watching. I've never seen this type of bird in real life. They sure are fascinating.

Lucky you to be there at the right time to capture this :)!
No WAY! That's incredible that you caught that. It doesn't seem like it would be that common. Am I wrong? I'm really impressed!
Great set of photos! It always amazes me how much those birds can get down all at once.
Excellent photos of the Great Egret! He surely has found a big enough meal to keep him full for a while.
I love it when a photographer captures an experience like that. Very cool!
Great capture Eileen! Nature in all its glory.
