I do not think the loon is as silent as you.
he looks happy bobbing around in the cold water. Its a funny name for a bird.
So good to see the duck swimming in the water..
Your mosaics below are just fantastic..
Naturally, beautiful!!! So perfect for me, for the day.

Beautiful captures.
love loons! and their haunting call...
One of my favorite birds! I absolutely love their 'morning song'!!!
nice shots
happy WW
Beautiful picture! The loons remind me of the movie, On Golden Pond!
Thanks for sharing these images.A few more months and I can expect to see the Loons here,at least for a little while as they pass through.
Blessings,Ruth
Happy New Year Eileen! Great shots! Birds around here don't have much fun these days, it's very cold and too much snow. It's ice on the river and the fjord, so they have to go far out to get open water. I get weather reports from my family in Ocean City (MD) and Phila, so I know you had some snow too :)
Wish you a great week ... Irene
i love the loon, such a beautiful bird. they always make me think of my aunt, she had them all over her house. haha
What a cute little head looking out of the water !
That looks like one of those birds that dive under water and pop back up with a fish. Cool shots. I like the header photo too.
Beautiful photos.
The loon looks such a busy bird - very attractive, too.
it looks nice.
It looks so in its element. Nice shots. Happy new year to you!
These are wonderful pictures of the loon. Thanks for sharing these great captures.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! What a great capture!
A lonely loon. Very nice shots of him. We don't see them down here in Florida.
A great sighting! They're hard to find in my part of the country though they do winter in the bays off the coast.
Beautiful!
Happy New Year!
I seldom see swimming duck here.
Awesome shots, Eileen :)
Thanks for dropping by...
I love your loon shots, but man, that banner photo is a real winner! It's so beautiful, I almost forgot to scroll down!
Great capture Eileen, he is a fine looking fellow. I haven't seen loons in a long time.
