Saturday's Critters #7

Saturday's Critters #

Hello, I want to thank everyone for joining in on the critter party..

One of my prettier male Mallard shots.

A lot of Great Blue Herons do not migrate south they stay in our area for the winter. I assume they are able to find food year round.  I hope you enjoyed my post and are able to visit with some of the other bloggers linking up their critters..

To see more beautiful birds and cute critters

Also please visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni of I'd Rather-B-birdin. Also, sharing with Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting.

Thanks for stopping by and  I wish everyone a happy weekend.

Blue herons are fascinating and we have a few in our area. I have to keep an eye on them when they think they might fish in our backyard pond though, we don't want the liner pierced.
You captured them showing how beautiful they are.
Thanks for hosting Eileen.

Great Mallard shot . . . surprised you are so "non snow" making it possible for the Herons to be visible . . . Such a gracefulness!

Nice catch light on the mallard! Our herons don't migrate, either. Even if the lake has ice, they stick around.

Love your heron photos! We used to have a blue heron who would visit our backyard. We had a koi pond that he loved to go fishing in. I need to find some critter photos so I can participate again this week! :)
