We managed a couple over overnight trips while in Florida, on this trip we were near St. Augustine, Crescent Beach and Flagler beaches all on Florida's East coast. I captured some sunrises, lots of shorebirds and beach scenes during our visit.

Hi Eileen. I love your photo of the Pelicans flying low over the ocean. This picture looks as though is was painted in pastels...just beautiful! And, I enjoyed seeing and hearing the sound of the shorebirds on your video. The collie dog is a handsome guy! This is a lovely post, and I am inspired by your list of thankful things. When my grandson and I have dinner together, I always ask him what he is thankful for. At first he was shy about it, but now, he is able to give me answers, and I love that. Have a great weekend.

I lived in Jacksonville for awhile many years ago. My brothers lived in St. Augustine --and I spent a lot of time at their gorgeous beaches... SO---I know that area well.... Thanks for sharing.

You got some beautiful shots to make it feel like we are right there on the beach! The sunrise is amazing, and love the pelicans over the crashing wave. Sweet collie, aren't they the prettiest dog. I was at "home", St.Augustine last week. We are staying in a condo on St. Augustine Beach while we rebuild Mom's house that was flooded during Hurricane Matthew!!
Love morning walks on the beach!!! Did you notice all the Man of wars / jelly fish, washing up on the beach??? The beach down at Marine Land, Flagler Beach and the Matanzas Inlet is very rocky and is coquina. Further north the beach becomes sandy!!
We are now driving every other week to and from Marietta, Ga and St. Augustine!! Mom won't leave St. Augustine so she is now at BayView over in town.
You diffidently captured the lovely sunrises!!

Beautiful beach -- the East Coast of Florida is quite different from where you were (and where we are).... we've done a few overnight trips and even one boat trip across the state. I enjoyed them but am glad I live on this side. You saw some wonderful birds.

An equally beautiful sunset picture (remember, I'm going backwards here!)! I saw a flock of about 9 Brown Pelicans fly extremely close to the waves yesterday... I was thinking perhaps they hope fish will jump into their mouths!?! Hugs!
