Saturday's Critters #213

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

If you love critters like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

My bird photos are from January 4th, this male Cardinal was enjoying the sunflower seeds I spread out on a table.

January 4th

The Pine Warbler was checking out the Sunflower seed feeder. You can see some snow coming down on this day.

A pair of House Finches, they also love the sunflower seeds.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments this past year !

Here is a list of my linky parties;

sweet birds!

The food bar deli is open again, even on snow. They are so happy to come for a feed, I'm sure they have an inbuilt instinct to know where to come.

Beautiful Eileen. Have a beautiful weekend.

The beautiful male Cardinal and the other birds must have been happy to find sunflower seeds in the feeder. Must have been cold and hungry. We are having 22 deg. C over here and I need to wear long sleeves and long pants.

Hello Eileen, thanks for sharing your bird feeder birds. I'm wondering if warblers and other smaller birds eat the sunflower seeds. Thanks for hosting this meme; you'll notice I have real critters today. Thanks that I can post here even if I don't always have wild critters now I don't get outdoors too regularly. Have a great day. Keep yourself warm. Jo

I like seeing the snow-- from a distance! The Pine Warbler is very colorful. We have had only a few this winter, a bit unusual. Beautiful images!

Hello Eileen!:) The Cardinal, Finches and Warbler, are all birds I never see at my feeders, but lovely to see on yours. Thank you for sharing these pretty birds, and thank you for hosting.:)

I hope you don't mind me linking up with two posts today, it seemed a shame not to post the one I had intended to post today for Wild Bird Wednesday. Have a great Weekend!

I’m back after a long vacation visiting daighter and family. While visiting British Columbia we saw lots of new and different birds, ducks and water birds, Love your photos, I’ve got to work hard to entice the birds back to the garden, made all season suet and filled the feeders and they are slowly returning.

Hi Eileen. Just the same here - the sunflower seeds are the most popular with birds. they are the most expensive bird seed too so I use them sparingly and try not to let any go to waste. Good to see you found time for your camera despite the falling snow.

Thanks for hosting today. It's much appreciated.

I was just thinking how cool it is how cardinals hue fluctuates from red to orange depending upon the season. Neat critters.

So sweet! My birds have been rather quiet lately. I wonder what's up with that. Someone else must have put out something more interesting for them right now. They'll be back.

Hi Eileen. I know you are ready for Spring, but you have taken some very pretty winter pictures. I love the little finches, and always the Cardinal, which is my favorite bird! They are so grateful to have you provide them with the necessary nutrients they need for winter. Have a nice warm Sunday!

Good frosty morning Eileen! Possibly Mr. Cardinal is wondering where did all the peanuts go? Wait, of course the Blue Jays ate up all the peanuts the squirrels didn't get! Enjoy your week, hoping your weather is improving.

Hi Eileen, I am giving it my best, going to try and visit more, but it is just so hard with my computer and the scroll down bar being so slow. The songbirds are so sweet. We have so many that we are feeding right now and I just take my photos through the glass window. I hope that you enjoy your week~
