Our world, My world

Hello,

Happy Monday, wishing everyone a great day and new week!

These are some images from around my yard and our walk on the local bike trail.

I have some blooms from around our yard, we are having enough rain to make everything grow well.  It was nice see the clematis plant bloom a second time.

The Lantana growing in this pot is huge, taking up a corner of our deck.

Some potted annuals on the table, upright Fuchsia, Zinnias, Salvia and some herbs.

Usually this fuchsia is sold in a hanging basket, but we found growing in a pot at our local nursery.

Our local bike trail, we can walk a few miles on the flat trail.  We usually try walking early in the morning, to avoid the hot and humid afternoons.

A view of our bike trail called the NCR trail or the North Central Railroad rails to trails.

Along the trail is a bench for resting and some Bee Balm. I am seeing Bee Balm everywhere we walk lately.

I had a quick view of the Great Blue Heron flying up the river. Below a view of the Gunpowder River, some hosta blooms and down by the river are the orange daylilies.

I was able to catch this Belted Kingfisher perched on a tree above the river.

Maybe you will visit the following memes and links. I hope to see you there.

Thanks to Angie the host of  Mosaic Monday

We have a lantana too who thinks its purpose in life is to occupy the entire deck and begin its ascent of the fence. I think its next target will be the house!

Beautiful photo mosaics, Eileen. I'd love to hear what you think of the fox in my post. Thanks.

Good morning, Eileen! You've shown us some beautiful flowers. I had completely forgotten about lantana; most likely though because I'm having to plant in pots due to the dragged grasshoppers!

Wish I had your beautiful walking trail. I miss not having that.

xoxo

A stunning display in your own garden, and the Kingfisher? What's up, he says as those feathers all stand up on end. That is a beauty.

I love your porch. It is too hot to sit outdoors, but I hear we are in for a short break in the heat. Fingers crossed. Your flowers are beautiful.

So much colour in your pots. I am envious of your overflowing wonderful flowers.

You have very nice flowers. The lantana we planted a few weeks ago just died. WE can't grow lantana for some reason, even though they say it's a hardy plant.

I would give a lot to be able to take off on that NCR trail, or to have one near here and Roger be able to go....he tires out so quickly these days.

Forgot to say I did love all the flower shots, too.

Looks like a beautiful trail with flowing river on a side and flowers bloomed around! Lantana grows here as wild flower to spread widely taking away lot spaces and fuchsia grow in cold weather mountains which I have shot couple of time. Lovely photos and I enjoyed the bench and blooms at your home.

Hi Eileen!

Men så trevligt med blombilder och för en gångs skull är det bekanta växter, jag brukar ju inte känna igen de fågelbilder du visar för de flesta finns inte här men växterna, de känner jag igen.

Your flowers are really lovely! Fuchsia's are a favorite of mine. I had them in Alaska. There they are a different variety that you can winter over for the next year. I hated to give them away, but I traded it in for flowers like yours and birds too.
