I have some various shots of the sunset from my backyard and some from our lake.
These are some of my hubby's favorites the reflection of the sunset on our lake.
Dear hubby also found this lovely wild lily? At least I believe it is a lily growing near the edge of the lake.
I love this shot of the tree and the forest floor covered in pretty ferns.
Some pretty ferns and colorful fungi growing off the fireroad.
We stopped along the fireroad to watch this group of tree swallows.
More pretty pink reflections on the lake.

I love those shots! The pink reflection in the water is so beautiful - and the ferns on the forest floor are a personal favorite of mine. I have shot scenes like that every time I get in the woods!

Wow!!! I too like the ferns around the tree. I understand that I can't grow them here but when I do see them on mountain tops or canyons, I like to stand among them and just memorize the scene. They are some of the most beautiful plants on this Earth. Like your fungi shot.
As for the dragonflies:), let me take a look and see what I can find. There are two that I don't know...the red and the yellow are mysteries. I'll try and find them if I can. With birds, I'm OCD, but with insects, I'm a little um...."oh that's a pretty bug:)"

So lovely to see such bright colours, Eileen. We are living in rather a grey world (weatherwise) at present, though we hear the jet stream may at last be about to shift north.
