I am sharing a mish-mash collection of photos from my walks with Miney and hubby, archived images of some favorite birds.

1. My local Prettyboy fire road walk with Miney. The trail is covered with leaves now, Miney always has her nose to the ground during our walk.
2. Our walk with Miney and hubby on the NCR bike trail in Parkton Md.
The critters seen at home in our yard, the Peacock was walking around the yard I assume looking for bugs to eat. The deer was on our driveway and a big fat groundhog was around the side yard.
The Peacock is often seen near this little wood pile in our yard. There may be lots of bugs hiding in the wood pile.
3. When we come home from dialysis I usually eat lunch and then I take Miney for a walk. Below is the local fire road walk with Miney. Luckily we have not come across a deer hunter.
4. Another walk on the local NCR bike trail with hubby and Miney. I heard a lot of birds, seems like a lot of White-throated Sparrows along the trail. I did see a Great Blue Heron standing in the stream.

5. Seen on my travels, the Parakeets were one of my many favorite birds to see. I am sharing archived images of various Parakeets, Parrots and the Mexican Parrotlet.
The Monk Parakeet in Cape Coral Florida 2017 at the Pelican Baseball complex. Same spot where I saw the Burrowing Owls.
The Rose-ringed Parakeet was seen in Kapaa Kauai 2022.
Blue-crowned Parakeet was seen in Pompano Beach Florida 2019.

But early in the sunrise moments I prefer to read posts. And here I can't say one favorite. I like the beautiful peacock and all the other birds. Another wonderful walk with sweet Minnie.

I love seeing parrots in the wild. We have small wild green parrots in my morning walk in South Florida, but they are so fast and often up high that I can't get a shot of them. Love you pics!! Thanks for hosting.

Oh, now I have the movie Groundhog- Day in my mind! And that peacock is beautiful. And a deer... wow.
That heron sure has a long neck! The Parakeet look so cheerful. Curacao, wow, I´d like to go there one time, too. Costa Rica, you´ve sure seen a lot!

Happy birthday to Hubby and Son! I love all the parakeets, have only seen the nandays here. we used to see flocks of them in our area where we live, but not now. I once saw over 100 of them fly and sit down on a fence, it was amazing.

oooooh that minnie, sniffer down she doesn't want to miss a thing. your trees still have leaves, ours are bare. maybe these pictures were taken in November. i am glad that hubby has been sble to join you on your walks, such good news!! happy birthday to both of those birthday boys!! the parakeets from belize are so pretty, it must be fun to spot them in nature. many thanks for hosting, have a great weekend...it's gotten very cold here!!

It was a pleasure vitually joining you and Miney, sometimes with your husband, on your walks in the woods. I completely understand why Miney's nose is so close to the ground – forest scents are so exciting for dogs. You saw a pleasing number of animals again – and that groundhog really is big and fat 😅😉 Your photos of all the parakeets and parrots are lovely – I haven't seen so many of them in the wild myself – I remember seeing some in Costa Rica and San Francisco. (Apparently, there are wild colonies of rose-ringed parakeets in several cities in our neighboring country, Germany... Perhaps we'll see some if we travel there one day?)

Lovely yard visitors, a peacock, deer, and groundhog, how exciting to see them right outside your window. I never knew there were so many different species of Parrots, ( I'm not sure if that includes Parakeets) but anyway it was a treat to see these beautiful birds and it is always enjoyable to see Miney nose to the ground on her walks with you and sometimes with your hubby to whom I wish a Happy Birthday and also to your son.
