"Try to pause each day and take a walk to see nature."
1. I have a section of the NCR bike trail where I love to walk and listen to the birds. I always hear lots of birds and on this day the deer were running across the trail. No deer photos, they were quick to get away.
2. Our morning walk on the local fire road, this time with hubby and Miney. I saw lots of mushrooms, I never pick them. I would not know which ones are safe to eat.

3. Every other Sunday we try to visit the family and have lunch together. This day we celebrated our DIL's birthday. Below Winnie our grand-dog is always happy to see us.
Below Michael,is that a guilty look, eating some of Allie's birthday ice cream cake.
The kiddies love to dance with their Pop-Pop.
4. There are times my butterfly bushes look like they are moving from all the different butterflies hovering around the blooms.
5. Below are two Silver-spotted Skippers.
6. Below are two Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterflies and one Black Swallowtail.
7. I am seeing lots of Swallowtail butterflies and I finally saw one Monarch.

Same here, lots of mushrooms at this time of the year in the woods, but I cannot recognize them properly to pick up the edible ones. Lovely butterfly!

The butterflies are lovely.
It’s wonderful that you can visit your children and grandchildren, things can turn out very differently, we haven’t had any contact with our son for nine years now, our daughter-in-law played a major role in that.

Dear Eileen, I’ve enjoyed accompanying you and your dear hubby on the Miney walks. I saw a deer recently too, and—just like in your case—it was too fast for a photo. Luckily, we at least SAW it.
Belated birthday wishes to your daughter-in-law! I loved seeing your husband and the grandkids enjoying each other's company. And that sweet look from Winnie says it all.

Your grand-dog Winnie is a cutie, but your grandkids take the cake. I love seeing the pics of them dancing with their Pop-Pop. You got some great pics of butterflies too. The Monarchs come through Del Rio around October, so I hope I can get some good photos of them then. Blessings, my friend!
