1. Sept 22nd, the male Cape May Warbler is on the top line and the bottom left. the right bottom is a female Cape May Warbler. The female is paler in color, the yellow is much duller. It was nice to see these warblers hang out on the berries for a few weeks.
2. The male Cape May Warbler has a pretty yellow chest and yellow cheeks. The Cape May Warbler is one of my common Fall warbler.
3. Miney is waiting for me patiently.
4. Sept 26th, a pair of Cape May Warblers, Goldfinches and a Tennessee Warbler bottom right.
5. My American Goldfinches love the thistle socks.
6. The Devil's Walking stick berries are plentiful, just waiting for the warblers to eat.
7. Sept 30th, on the last day of September, Miney and I went on a morning walk to the front section of the Prettyboy Reservoir. It is just a stream now, due to the terrible drought. Only one tree nearby had fall colors, it did look pretty. Miney as always had her head and nose to the ground smelling all she can smell.
8. The reservoir covered with grass instead of water.
Sept 30th, another sighting of the Monarch butterfly on our Buddleia bush.
These days and months are flying by, it is hard to believe it is the end of October. Wishing everyone a happy month of November.

Good morning, dear blogfriend Eileen, again is a week away... and I 'm happy reading each other. Waiting Miney is such a sweet scene.
Have a spooky funny Halloween 🎃 🎃 🎃 Thank you for sharing and for hosting too. Greetings by Heidrun 🎃
Hello Eileen,
Miney is always so sweet, and you are lucky to have her. The warblers are pretty, and you have many different kinds at your place. The monarch butterfly is very beautiful, and the butterfly bush blooms for a very long time in your garden.
Take care, and have a great day and weekend!
As you said, time really flies and this year is almost ending.
How sad to see the reservoir with so little water!
Thanks for sharing the beautiful critters, especially the gorgeous Monarch.
Happy Halloween and happy weekend!
I'll be back :-D
Miney is such a precious dog, with a darling expressive face. Lovely to see all your photos Eileen, thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Halloween.
Hello dear Eileen, Happy Halloween. You showed us nice berries. Are they sweet enough to be eaten? A nice pic of the butterfly and the birds. Have a wonderful weekend.

Hope it's a peaceful and fun trick or treat night for you... love Miney's "are you coming" expression! YAM xx
Dear Eileen,
I finally had the chance to sit down and enjoy your post at my leisure 😊. There’s so much beauty to see—especially the animal visitors in your backyard, and of course, Miney. (I find the shot of the finches so sweet—was one of them feeding the other?)
Much less pleasant, however, is the dry spell at the Prettyboy Reservoir. Has it rained where you are yet? The situation with the bodies of water here in Austria looks just as bleak, and the little bit of rain we’ve had so far hasn’t really helped much. Let’s hope for plenty of rain this autumn and winter. (Not too much, and not too little...)
Give the lovely Miney a cuddle for me—she has such an attentive look!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN🎃🎉
and all the best from Austria 🤗

Miney looks like she is saying, “Hurry up Mom; let’s go for a walk”. Happy Halloween.
I LOVE your new header!!! Your Devil's Walking stick berries look like feast for the warblers. Eileen, thanks for hosting the party and I wish you many treats today. 🎃👻🧙
I have never heard of Cape May Warblers. I love the name and the way they look.
I’d never heard of thistle socks…they look quite efficient! Perhaps less seed falls on the ground. Thanks for hosting!
Those are such nice critter photos and Miney, you have the sweetest face!
Your birds and butterflies are reassuring, that spring will return with our critters!
Hi Eileen, that Monarch butterfly on our Buddleia bush is gorgeous and Mikey looks so cute waiting for you. Thanks for another Saturday Critters Share. I enjoy it. Happy Halloween
Happy Halloween. I like those berries -- and Miney definitely knows how to pose!
Hello, Eileen! Happy Halloween. Lovely portrait shot of Miney! Have a great new week and thanks for hosting.
Happy Halloween.
I think the birds and the butterflies celebrate Halloween too.
Happy Halloween to everyone.

I love seeing the Monarch butterfly, Eileen. Happy Halloween!
Some of the warblers you show, are not native to this area. We also see very few warblers.

What a treat to see Miney's face up close and such a charmer! Hope you enjoy the day and that your grand-kids have fun playing dress-up for Halloween. :)
Seeing a Monarch butterfly is so special and the berries are so yummy for so many critters. Seems late to have ripe berries! Happy weekend sweet friend, Diane
Hi Eileen, I enjoyed your Happy Halloween mish mash post. It’s always good to see Miney and your 3rd image (of her) is just wonderful. She looks so focused and sweet. 😊 I was curious about the Devil’s Walking Stick berries and had to look it up. I guess they are edible but Google suggests not eating too many at time. 😊 Now, re the Reservoir, it is pretty, but sad, that it is just a stream now due to the drought. Lastly, absolutely love your Monarch butterfly picture! After a long while I finally got a new post published today and I’m linking up with you. Very best regards to you and hubby from the Pacific Northwest! Happy Saturday and week ahead to you two! John

Happy November, have a great week ahead.
Hi Eileen! I wonder if Miney gets a treat for being patient! It is sad about the draught casing the reservoir to become a small stream yet the area does look pretty. Can you walk where there is grass or would it be marsh-like? I hope you see many interesting sights during your November walks!
Hello Eileen, how did it get to be November already? I think it's all the nice weather we've had, and we all deserve. If only winter could be mild this year. Miney certainly was having fun smelling all the different scents, as they do. Beautiful photos from your walk. I hope you had a joyful Halloween, and a great week ahead. Karen
It's lovely to see your dog and the birds. I am praying for an end to your drought.
Miney always seems to know exactly how to pose for the camera! The warbler photos were beautiful, and I loved seeing the goldfinches enjoying the thistle socks. That Monarch butterfly is a real treat too. Thanks for sharing another delightful Saturday's Critters post.
