Walk to the lake

I am linking up  with That's My World  and Watery Wednesday . These are some photos from yesterday's walk with my hubby to the nearby lake and some from my backyard. The lake has a thin layer of ice and is starting to melt quickly now.

These are some shots of Black Vultures and Turkey Vultures flying around my yard and a pretty Pine Warbler and a gorgeous sunset to end the day.

I hope you enjoyed my photos please visit that's My World and Watery Wednesday.  Thanks for stopping by and thanks to the great host of the two memes.

Eileen, the smile on your dog's face is cheering me up this morning. Love the shot of the pine warbler!

Beautiful, Eileen. You have such colourful warblers, Ours in Africa are brownish-grey. But I love them. What a gorgeous dog you have. Greetings, Jo

I enjoy your photos very much especially the yellow bird.

Those are beautiful. Your pine warbler is so much more colored out than ours here in Texas. And when the buzzards gather in such numbers, I refer to it as a 'Texas Tornado'. :)

And Goldie Girl not getting nearly enough accolades, thank you! LOL!
A lot of folks don't car for vultures, but I love to watch them soar like that-esp. in their migratory groups. I call them: "The Masters of Effortless Flight."
Your photos are lovely-thanks for sharing them!
Have a great week Eileen!

Some wonderful photos here, Eileen. I love the one of the tree, the pretty pine warbler, and the sunset, but my favorites have to be the dog pictures!

Eileen I've been in the desert too long because I love the freeze on these watery images! I suppose that's what my lake would look like back home about this time of year. Oh how sweet is the yellow bird!

I really like your pictures and collages, especially the views of the lake. It's very pretty with that layer of ice, but it probably won't be too long before the ice is all gone.
