Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
I am sharing some images from our recent trip to Letchworth State Park, Mt Morris Dam controls the flow of the Genesee River, overlooks the Letchworth Canyon also known as the Grand Canyon of the East.
1. Letchworth State Park qualifies as one of the Audubon's Important Bird Areas. The open water below the dam has been known to attract over 2,000 Canada Geese in the winter. Other birds seen around the dam were the Turkey Vultures.

2. More than 30 Wood Warbler species have been recorded in the park with 25 of the warblers being confirmed breeders.
3. A view from the Great Bend scenic overlook.
4. We watched this Bald Eagle during our stop at the Great Bend Overlook.
5. Some scenes from the Letchwork State Park, Inspiration Point, A distant view of the Upper Falls and bridge and views of the canyon walls.
6. I found this Dark-eyed Junco in a bush off the trail between the Middle and Upper Falls. Other birds we saw in the park were the Blue Jays, White-breasted Nuthatches and American Robins.
7. Below are views of the Upper, Middle and Lower Falls.
This trip was more for the views of the waterfalls, leaf peeping and scenic overlooks at the Letchworth State Park. I was lucky finding a few birds during our 3night a 4 day trip.
