I am away from my computer, I will be visiting and commenting as soon as I can. Thank you for participating and for all your comments.

1. This one of two bunnies that I always see in our yard. The White-throated Sparrow is one of my winter birds, still being seen.

2.

3. Not the best photos of the Eastern Phoebe, taken from my kitchen window. I am seeing some spring birds moving in even though my winter birds have not left.

4. Our walk on our local fire road, we met a new neighbor with her three cute dogs. They were friendly dogs and seemed happy to meet us too.

5. Another day our walk was to the lake, we saw a few Canada Geese and two Double-crested Cormorants.

6. A view of the Prettyboy reservoir, the trees were starting to see signs of spring. The buds are a red color.

7. A closer look at the Double-crested Cormorants.

8. A Canada Geese looks to be sitting on a nest next to the water.

9. Sometimes I am lucky capturing birds in my yard and on my deck. On this day I saw both the Downy Woodpecker and the Hairy Woodpecker stop for some of the nuggets I put out on the deck railing. The photos shows the size difference between the two different woodpeckers. The Hairy Woodpecker is much larger. The Downy Woodpecker is about 6 1/2 inches compare it to the Hairy Woodpecker is 9 inches.

Another puzzle completed, looks like a scene from an African safari.

I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday  I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.

Saturday's Critters # 350

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

Hello and happy Saturday!

I have more butterflies to share and my Ruby-throated Hummingbird, both are always a joy to watch.

The Ruby-throated Hummingbird, I see a female guarding the feeders lately.  She will sit on a branch where she can watch over 3 different feeders at the same time.

I've been seeing a few bunnies in our yard. They just look up when I come outside, they watch me for awhile and then they go back to their eating.

Below a Fritillary Butterfly and a unknown Swallowtail.  There is a list of Fritillary Butterflies, like the Gulf Fritillary and the Great Spangled Fritillary.

There are actually 3 Swallowtail Butterflies that are mostly black in color and look similar to me. They are the Eastern Black Swallowtail, the Spicebush Swallowtail and the Pipevine Swallowtail.

A female Ruby-throated Hummingbird watches over her family and the feeders.

I have a family of bunnies in the yard, I sometimes see at least 2 of the bunnies eating something in the grass.

The Eastern Tiger Swallowtails are the most common butterfly I see in my yard.

Thanks to all my visitors and for all the wonderful comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves critters and has linked up their critter post.
