A mish-mash of photos, birds and critters and our cute dog Miney.

Click on images for better viewing.

1. March 10th, I was happy to see a pair of Eastern Bluebirds visiting my bird houses.  I hope to see them raising their young this season.

2. March 11th, my morning walk with Miney on the fire road. The trail is closest to my house and there are views of the reservoir.

3. March 11th, I am still seeing the pair of Eastern Bluebirds coming and going to the birdhouses.

"Your bluebird of happiness is waiting for you."

4. March 12, I am sharing my yard birds , I had a nice variety of birds like the Northern Cardinal, the Mockingbird, a Pine Warbler , the Bluebird and the Titmouse.

5. March 12th, it was a warm day in the low 70's. I was happy to see the Peacock visiting, he hasn't been seen since last fall. We were getting ready to leave to meet hubby's cousin for lunch when the Peacock started his dance in front of the car.

6. March 12th, the Red-bellied Woodpecker was able to eat some of the suet nuggets. Usually the woodpeckers are chased away by the Mockingbird.

7. March 12th, I was surprised this photo turned out ok, I wanted to get the cardinal perched but he flew off when I captured him in flight.

8. April 25th Arbor Day

Celebrate Arbor Day, plant a tree.

"He who plants a tree plants hope."

A flashback from my facebook page, from March 2016. A favorite bird is the Red-headed Woodpecker seen at the North Point State Park. I have not seen these birds since this time, they have safely moved on I hope.

A Sept 2015 flashback from the North Point SP, we saw a few Tricolored Herons, The park is more known for seeing the Little Blue Herons, it was a treat to see the Tricolored Herons.
