I am linking up with Skywatch Friday and Good Fences
I hope you can join in on the fun and share your fence scenes and pretty skies.
I am continuing our journey along the Delaware shore, we stopped at the Indian River inlet after leaving Bombay Hook and Prime Hook wildlife refuges and beach. The Indian River inlet is a great place to look for the seabirds and gulls.
Hubby and I getting silly with our shadow shots...at the Delaware beaches.
Another shadow shot, a pretty sky and view of the Atlantic Ocean.
There were a lot of Bonaparte's Gulls at the Indian River inlet.
A view of the bridge at the Indian River inlet.
Also seen at the Indian River inlet the Long-tailed Ducks.
More of the Long-tailed Ducks and some Surf Scoters.
It may have been a cold day but the clear blue sky made our visit worthwhile. After leaving the Indian River inlet we headed south to Ocean City, Md and our room for the night.
To see more pretty skies from around the world please visit Skywatch Friday
and check for more fence shots at Tex's Good Fences

ReplyDeleteWhat a great presentation of various places. Loved seeing them all. Your first photo covered both memes very well. Thanks for you loyalty in visiting me.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying all your lovely photos including your shadow shots.
ReplyDeleteI love your silly shadow shots. They place you at the scene, and I think it's so funny how our shadows reflect so much of our personality!
ReplyDeleteI've so enjoyed seeing your coast pictures this morning. I just can't wait to head to Nova Scotia this summer!
I'm sure my blog will be overwhelmed with water shots. Or should I say "drowned in water shots"? I never was good at funny puns.

ReplyDeleteSo many stunning water views. and love the deeply etched tracks in the sands in the last photo. Quite artistic.
ReplyDeleteWell you know, it may have been cold but you it was a sunny day and you were on the beach and you weren't working. So I'll take that anytime!

ReplyDeleteGreat fence shots ~ wonderful series of photos ~ gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend to you ~ ^_^
Looks so peaceful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place! The clear blue sky is wonderful. After living through gray Oregon winters for so long, I still have trouble remembering that just because a sky is blue it does not mean that it is warm out. (Like when we're in Colorado for example in the winter time, it can be sunny out and still freezing!)
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a bridge. I like your shadow shots!
ReplyDeleteThe bridge is eyecatching.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Beautiful. So clear and crisp.
ReplyDeleteSydney – City and Suburbs
These are just great, Eileen. Love the shadows!
ReplyDeleteEileen, lovely images!
ReplyDeleteHello Eileen....I love those beach fences. What is it about them that is so appealing? Reading between the 'shadows', can I ask? Is your partner a photographer too? It looks like you are both aiming cameras. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen,

Hi Eileen, First of all, I LOVE the shadow shots created by you and your husband. It is amazing how the fun and camaraderie between the two of you is picked up by your readers just through those shadows. Secondly, that bridge is interesting and very similar to the Port Mann Bridge that crosses the Fraser River. We don't drive over it very often any more, but it holds lots of memories from the time when Bill still had his truck. Finally, your skies are gorgeous, the fencing evocative of wind-blown dunes (especially in the first shot) and the Long-Tailed ducks are new to me. Great post, as always! Hope to see you again tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGreat beach shots. Love the fence and your shadows. : )
ReplyDeleteWow, those blue skies......I am speechless !!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so beautiful, with the blue skies and sunshine. The sand so smooth. Love your shadow shots!
ReplyDeleteHi Eileen, I guess if I could have it all my way, I would spend more time by the beach. These are some neat shots. A blue sky at the beach is hard to beat. Hope you have a great weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteGreat winter blue skies. I love walking on the beach in winter. The sea, sand and sky make nice shots.
ReplyDeleteThese are all great images! I do hope you stay safe with this weekend's storm.
ReplyDeleteLOVED seeing that blue sky! I was wondering what the temps were then seen the coat in that last shot...then you said.
ReplyDeleteI love all the shadow shots!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really cool bridge! Love the blue skies and water.
ReplyDeleteAnother great sequence of images, which I loved...
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the shadow shots... specially the first one :-D
Kisses
