Saturday's Critters #125

Saturday's Critters #125

Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, that includes all the Moms of all the cute  furbabies.

Finally, my summer birds are returning to the yard and area. I am sharing some of my backyard birds and a cute bunny seen in my yard.

 A pretty Indigo Bunting.

A female Pine Warbler on the grass by my mailbox.

Outside my dining room window is the Downy Woodpecker and a Chipping Sparrow.

The male American Goldfinch showing off his pretty summer colors.

Mr & Mrs American Goldfinch.

My walk on the fireroad, I captured the Pileated Woodpecker throwing pieces of tree out of the hole.

A sweet bunny in the yard. I hope you enjoyed my critter and the yardbirds. As always thanks for the visits and the nice comments. I also thank everyone who is linking up and sharing their critters.. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!

Love the Indigo Bunting! Many of our songbirds have arrived too, and the Robins and Juncos are busy building nests. Your bunny is cute, nestled in the grass. Looks like he's poked his ears in a few places he shouldn't have.

Hi Eileen. Your bird photos are just awesome. We see indigo buntings seldom, but we do see them as they migrate through. They will stop at the bird feeder. I get get pretty excited, camera in hand. I think I will join the Saturday meme next week.

It is amazing how the woodpecker can chisel out such large chips of wood. Had hoped to see an Indigo Bunting on our Spring Census today but no luck. Migration is a bit slow here in NE Illinois. Nice shot of the blue beauty!

Yesterday a woodpecker was outside on one of my trees...so cute! I took a photo but it was a little hard to see the bird as it blended in with the tree.

Wow! I've never seen a bluer blue (indigo!) or a yellower yellow! And I really enjoyed that busy little woodpecker doing her spring cleaning! "Haven't used this in a year - out it goes! And this, too! And also THIS!" :)
Happy Mother's Day, Eileen!

That indigo bunting is just stunning! I know they are in southern Ontario, but I never see them right where I live. Today I saw a flicker clearing out a nesting hole just like your pileated woodpecker! I took some photos but haven't downloaded them yet. My husband and I enjoyed your video ;) Happy Mother's Day Eileen!
