Welcome to Saturday's Critters!
If you love critters like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!
For my critter post I am sharing mostly bird photos from our visit to the Susquehanna River and Conowingo Dam. This time of the year you can usually see a hundred or more Bald Eagles. We went a little early and these are some of the birds and photos from our visit.
Double-crested Cormorants.
My mosaic, a foggy morning on the river trail, sunburst, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Susquehanna River view, Great Blue Herons, Juvenile Bald Eagle, Double-crested Cormorants, Bald Eagle on tower, Peregrine Falcon on tower, another Bald Eagle also on the tower and gulls on the river rocks.

Hello,
Beautiful photos. The Great Blue Herons are so cute.
Happy Weekend!
Good Morning Eileen. Thanks for the link-up this morning. I am so impressed with your raptor count. I can only dream of seeing one Bald Eagle, never mind a hundred.
Super shots of the Great Blue Heron. What a tremendous bill they have - it gives some idea of how big the heron really is.
Have a great weekend.

Oh, wow! I love all the eagle photos! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
Bald Eagle is no longer a rarity in southern Ontario, but I have certainly never seen a hundred at one time. Must be a great spectacle.

A delight as always Eileen! Am a fan of 'various gulls'. Have to be, as I live where the variety reigns supreme! YAM xx

the eagles are discussing the fact they made it to the 50 yard line and maybe arguing over who got their first.

Great series of photos, specially the close up of the heron!
It thrills me to see a soaring eagle. I'm so glad that is our national emblem and not the turkey.
An eagle! WOW! Getting a pic of one is on my bucket list! The Cormorants posed well. Nice variety of critters!
What a great collection of critter pictures. You always have such a wide variety of them.

I'm amazed that you see so many bald eagles there, Eileen!
"50 yds fr m ll" - love those gulls who seem to be looking at each other, thinking, what the heck does that mean???
Eagles! Oh you are so lucky! Thanks for hosting!
Eileen - as you know, I wrote in my post this week about the recovery of bald eagles, so it was serendipity to see so many in your post. AWESOME! Thanks for hosting this wonderful linky.
You must have millions of photos of birds. Love the cormorants.
Hi! Your photos are very cool. Thanks for sharing.
What a great bunch of birds....I don't know why but cormorants fascinate me.
Very beautiful pictures!!!
Don't know how you keep coming up with so many great bird pix!
Looks like those first two were posing for you. :-)
The heron hiding in the rocks is an amazing photo!
How exciting to see multiple bald eagles!
Some gorgeous birds here. I particularly like the herons and the birds of prey. We see herons from time to time here. I distinctly remember seeing some down at the estuary of the Glenelg Rvier just over the state border one time. I didn't know what they were and had to look them up when I got home - Night Herons. Very similar to your great blue heron, but in shades of brown.
We have birds of prey and we often see them while driving, but rarely in photographable spots like this. Great photos :D The biggest we have is the wedged tale eagle and I've seen them once in my life circling high above. To see them like this is truly an honour.
Thanks for sharing your gorgeous photos :D
Best wishes,
Liz
All birds I never see here except the sea gulls they are all around the world.
Merle..........
Like seeing the juvenile and adult Bald Eagles . . .
Still waiting to happen upon seeing one in person!
Great photos, Eileen. I love cormorants and eagles! Kisses, my friend.
Such wonderful eagle photos, really appreciated the ones of the juvenile eagles. Eagles usually arrive in our area (well, north of us) around December or January. I'm hoping to get to see them this year. Looks like you saw a lot of wonderful and interesting birds.
I am finding I have no ambition today & I should be out birding. Instead I tought I'd go out in search of those fine feathered beauties with YOU! Thanks for letting me and all at I'd Rather B Birdin' tag along.
Great shots of the Cormorants..love the juvie Bald Eagle..Hope you are having a wonderful weekend..
Love your post of all of the birds out over the sea...The Double Crested Cormorants and Bald Eagles are so wonderful...I love watching them and your images are all great. Just got word this morning that our Bald Eagles have settled in their newly formed nest...we shall see. Hoping that you and your family will enjoy a most beautiful Thanksgiving celebration~ Hugs!
