Egret pond for Watery Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday

From my archives for Watery Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday are shot of Egrets at the wildlife refuge. During the summer months it is cool to see so many Egrets in one place. They are beautiful birds.

I like this shot for the reflections of the trees and the egrets.

To see more go and visit 2Sweetnsaxy at  http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com/

To see more Outdoor photos go and visit Susan at Outdoor Wednesday

Thanks to 2Sweetnsaxy and Susan and thanks for stopping by to see my Watery Wednesday.

It's rare to see Egrets in their environment. Over here we only get two of three of them.

I see egrets often in the wildlife refuge near my home ... but NEVER this many all at once. Lovely views ;-)

Hmmm ... I've shared Outdoor Wednesday at Happily Retired Gal but haven't thought about Watery Wednesday yet ... guess I need to get busy with that, or not. LOL
Hugs and blessings,

Beautiful.

Beautiful photos indeed. I like and respect very much the sensibility in your country for preserving the nature and wildlife. We have similar refuges and parcs in my country too but very few compared to the USA.

Have a beautiful new day, ciao!

Egrets are one of my favorite birds to photograph, but the only time I've seen this many together is in the evening when they roost together in the trees. This is a wonderful photo, so nice to see them hanging out together.

Very nice! We have Egrets here in coastal Virginia, but we have not been lucky enough yet to capture such a pic.

We have many egrets here but only see one or two at a time. Actually, that's not quite right, during breeding season many can be seen in the rookery tree.

Oh, my goodness! Look at all those egrets! Wow! When I was in San Antonio this past December, I saw lots of Great Egrets, but not all congregated in one place. Just amazing. You were so lucky. Nice shot! ~karen

Wow, that's quite the egret congregation. It must be fun to watch all of them interact with one another. Its like peering into a unique cultural experience.

Hi i am new here. Those are great photos of egrets, now reminding me to study harder the new DSLR which i find difficult to use after years of having only the PnS. You might want to see some photos in the tropics too. Happy Valentine's Day and thank you.
