Hi, The Scarlet Tanagers can be found nesting in the woods next to my house. I love to take walks in the summer and listen to all of them in the trees above my head.
They are so colorful and usually the male stands out with his bright red color.

It is so red to help you to spot the bird.

If mine is as red as you, I may not have to strain my eyes....

A beautiful bird, Eileen! Re:"my post" - When I got out of my car at the park all those ducks and geese ran and flew toward me... That's never happened to me before. I felt bad I didn't have some bread for them.

It is said, that "the teacher appears on his own, once the student is ready".

Guess that this small bird is able to teach a lot. Brilliant photography indeed, raising high the colour Green, the colour of hope, "running" through his heartblood like red.

Please have a wonderful Thursday.

Hi Eileen, The Scarlet Tanager is gorgeous. I have never seen one.

I pray that that horrible storm isn't too bad at your home. Sounds absolutely horrible... Please be careful.
