SWF>>>Chincoteague sunrise & Pelicans

I am linking up with Skywatch Friday

In the distance we watched a couple being married on the beach during the sunrise. What a great place for a wedding. On my previous post my video shows some of the bride at the very end of the video.

The clouds were turning pretty colors.

We watched groups of Pelicans flying by. I assume they were all migrating south.

I really liked the colors in the sky and on the sand in this photo below.

We watched the Willets take off from the shore. It seemed odd that on two mornings the Willets left the beach as soon as the sun had risen.

A large flock of Willets.

A flock of Pelicans

To see more beautiful skies from around the world please visit Skywatch Friday.  Thanks to the hosting group of Skywatch: Sylvia, Sandy and Wren.  Also, thanks for stopping by to see my skies. I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend.

  6. Hi Eileen, I love how the Pelicans fly in formation and seem to just skim over the surface of the ocean. Outstanding picture of the vivid orange sky with the birds! Have an excellent day today and a special day tomorrow!

  16. A great series of photos. I love the flock of pelicans and the sunrise wedding. I'm afraid that if my wife and I had tried to get married at sunrise we'd of had to wait a while for her to show up. It would have been worth it though.

  43. Hello Eileen,
Appreciate so much your Visit. SWF is truly a wonderful way to meet Folk and thoroughly interesting Blogs.
I browsed while my computer loaded your beautiful Blog... anything I write now would only be a token gesture... I would rather return when I can give more time.

One response is the beautiful scene you have of the Wedding in the distance... I do hope they have at least one photo as dramatically and stunningly beautiful.

Until I return, thank you so much, what I have seen is beautiful and the snippets I've read, so very interesting.
