Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
These are some photos from our walk on the nearby NCR Trail. It was an old railway and has been turned into a bike-hike and running trail..Sometimes we see horse back riders too. I am also sharing some moon and sky shots for my Skywatch Friday post..
We saw a few woodpeckers like the Redbellied Woodie above.
A section of the trail crosses the stream but I took this shot mainly for my Good Fence post.. I hope this works as a fence photo.
There were lots of berries around and some yellow colors still left on the trees..
Some more autumn trees and contrails in the sky above..
I like the jet trails in this shot, a pretty blue sky during our walk on the NCR trail.

Oo! Nice moon shot. I tried with no success to get a good photo earlier this year with the harvest moon.
That looks like a good long quiet trail with lots of spots to stop and bird Eileen. Love the red belly of course, and as usual your moon shot is spectacular.

I read here that you're not good at taking pictures. Ha! Your pictures tell a different story :) And you're able to take a damn good shot of the moon, which I (or is it my lousy camera?) am not able to.
I just would have liked to see some of the red berries from a little closer ;)

Some lovely photos of a gorgeous landscape. we have a similar walking trail, that was a railway once upon a time and it's some beautiful scenery too.
And love the shot of the moon - that was the one I missed because we were under cloudy, stormy skies here.

The Netherlands has no thanksgiving. It is a phenomenon of America but it is becoming increasingly familiar. beautiful pictures you've also placed in the woodpecker and I feel great. The beautiful colors of the leaves are great to see.
