You all know me by now, I have more birds and images from my part time neighborhood. Mostly birds, fence and sky shots to share from Florida. These are all from our walks around the neighborhood.
There are 4-5 Sandhill Cranes that are residents, this crane family must live here year round.

Love a sunset.
When we moved to FL in 86, Sandhills were rare. It is so nice to see many more now. And not just in the country. I just wish they would stay a bit farther away from the roads. I love them.
my favorite is the last one. one of the many reasons why I love Florida is the sky and all that is so beautiful and it is year round.
Hello Eileen!:) I like your Sandhill Crane neighbours enjoying the pickings in the green grass in our first shot. It's a lovely picture with the smaller birds in the background. Likewise the Tricoloured Heron is a fab shot, and all your sky images are so beautiful. I especially like the last shot with the Palm trees!:)

Hi Eileen, I remember seeing Sandhill Cranes for the first time. I was on a golf trip in Florida with friends, (and I had a camera of course).
SO GINORMOUS! And because they're used to golfers, you can walk right up to them. (Or vicey-versey.)

All are lovely shots of central Fla./Lakeland.
I grew up on the St.Johns River in Astor, just below lake George and the birds and ducks are wonderful!! Everywhere.
Excepts the ducks along the river. Too many gators now!!
