I am so behind in sharing photos, these are from our visit to my sister's place in North Carolina for Christmas 12/24/16. We enjoyed several walks on the closest beach called Sunset Beach. I hope you enjoy these scenes from our walk.

We hiked three miles round trip on the beach to see this famous mailbox. Sharing our visit , we wrote our names on the book inside the mailbox. Here is a link to a story about the Kindred Spirit Mailbox

The joy of a long walk on the beach - such glorious photos, wonderful scenery.
We had a time share in Myrtle Beach for many years..I remember Sunset Beach but never made the trek to the Mailbox..Thanks for sharing..Interesting story..
