Saturday's Critters # 532

Welcome to Saturday's Critters! Hello and Happy Saturday!

 If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

Time seems to fly by no matter what we do, these images are from late January. On Jan 19th we had about 6 inches of snow. The birds were enjoying the peanuts and suet nuggets I put out for them.

1. The Blue Jays are always first to arrive after I put out some food, they are piggies.  I think they sit in trees above our yard and wait for me to come outside.

2. Our snow covered deck with a White-throated Sparrow sitting on the railing waiting for some food. The winterberries are a pop of color, ready for some birds to eat.

3. The Mockingbird has been enjoying some suet nuggets, when it is not eating it is chasing away other birds from the food.

4. Looking out my window, I noticed 2 bunnies in our side yard. I hope they are finding food the ground was covered with snow. One bunny is almost hidden on the far left. The window blinds made this photo look strange.

5. Jan 26th Prettyboy reservoir has a layer of ice on top and little section of open water where the Canada Geese were paddling around.

6. I am happy to see we have had enough rain/snow to start filling up the reservoir after last year's drought.

7. After our walk to the lake, we are home to hear the male Cardinal banging on our front window. The female is sitting back further in the rhododendron watching her mate attack his reflection in the window.

8. Hubby and I enjoy working on 1000 piece puzzles on the bad weather days.  I loved this Toucan puzzle.

Thank you for sharing your critters and post!

  14. Hello Eileen :=)
    Your January images of your deck with all that snow looks lovely. You have some recent photos of the beautiful Blue Jays that are nice to see. The Eurasian Jay is just as greedy, but they are large birds and need more fuel than the smaller ones.I enjoyed seeing all the birds and your puzzle with the exotic Toucan mage and the beautiful flowers. What a lovely scene. What used to take me an hour to do now takes me a morning or afternoon, where does the time go, I'm sure I don't know.
    Thank you for hosting Eileen.

We're back in a possible rain/snow mix for Tuesday but Wednesday it's going to be near 60's (yes I'm still in Minnesota the could be frozen tundra) so if any snow comes it won't last.
