Saturday's Critter's #46

 Saturday's Critter's #46

Happy weekend everyone! I am looking forward to seeing everyone's critters this week..I appreciate everyone who has linked up in the past and for those who are linking in on this week's critter party.

I am sharing some birds and critters from our visit to Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware last weekend..

A large group of Great Egrets and a few Snowy Egrets and maybe some Yellowlegs..

One of the many Great Blue Herons seen during our visit..

These birds must be confused, it is not winter yet.. The snow birds.. Dark-eyed Juncos..

The Turtle was climbing up this log to get out of the water..

It was warm enough for this Toad or frog to be out sunning themselves on a log..

This was one of two foxes we saw walking on the wildlife drive..He/she had it eye on me and my car.

Some more shorebirds and Egrets.. I hope you enjoyed all the birds and critters from Bombay Hook NWR.. Thank you for linking up to the critter party. I also appreciate the visits, comments and the support of my blogging friends................... Have a happy weekend!

Thanks to Tex Theresa aka Tex, I was able to add this link up button and thanks to  Jennifer for creating my photo badge.

To see more beautiful birds and cute critters, check out these two memes below.

Please visit:  I'd-Rather-B-Birdin. Thanks to the gracious host: Anni of I'd Rather-B-birdin. Also, sharing with Camera Critters. Thanks to Misty for hosting

Beautiful shots, Eileen. I haven't seen any Juncos here yet - in fact, there's a real scarcity of birds around here. Very unusual. Love the fox capture. They are such beautiful animals. The last shot is a beauty.

Wonderful collection of critters, Eileen.

I think that is an American Bullfrog. (I was just figuring out how to tell the difference between them and similar frogs last week.)

♫ Egrets, I've had a few... ♫

There are also many inspiring posts to check out by your followers. I hope to spend some time with those as well. In the meantime, your Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Blue Herons, the turtle, the frog (or toad?), the FOX (I've never seen one in the wild!) and your beautiful reflection shot are all spectacular! What a gift your blog is! Have a wonderful Saturday!

Your post puts me in mind of warmer days Eileen and I always enjoy the wildlife you find on your excursions.
We really need to have foxes re-introduced to our country setting but the coyotes are increasing in numbers and will no doubt be culled in the near future.
