Saturday's Critters #118

Saturday's Critters #118

Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.

Hubby and I took a walk on the trail next to the Monocacy River in Frederick County, Maryland. Below are some of the birds I saw including the cool Great Horned Owl.

Great Horned Owl seen off the trail.

A snoozing Great Horned Owl. I wish I could make that tree branch disappear, but that is not happening.

Singing Redwing Blackbird.

Besides the birds above, we also saw a group of white-tailed deer running off into the woods. I hope you enjoy my owl and all the other birds from our walk.

As always thanks for the visits and the nice comments. I also thank everyone who is linking up and sharing their critters.. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!

My Lovely, Wonderful Eileen, good morning and thank you for hosting me !

Hope you and your friends will enjoy the post I've linked, filled with so many critters living in the little lakes and in the English styled garden of the wonderful Villa the Marquess Orso Serra has made build after visiting England in the early XIXth century, located in the hinterland of Genoa.

Sending you much love for vishing you a most wonderful day, today, and weekend ever,
with heartfelt gratitude

Nice to see the owl. Our best local spot for them was "improved" from a nice wild place into more of a park with equestrian trails and picnic shelters, which made the owls move elsewhere. Hope to see them nesting near our Illinois home fairly soon. Thanks for hosting!

Good morning Eileen. You found a good one with that Great Horned Owl. Although the branches might intrude a little into the scene I think it is good to see how a large owl can hide away. Of course you showed my favourite the Red-winged Blackbird. How I wish I could hear it singing right now.

Have a great day and weekend.

That's a beautiful GHO! I get annoyed when these silly birds can't perch in a clear shot too ;) You saw a nice collection of springtime birds. Redwing blackbirds are the chorus of spring!
