Saturday's Critters #167

Happy Saturday, it's time to share your critters and post. Any kind of critter will do, even a new or old post.. I appreciate everyone who is linking in with this week's critter party.

These are all sights from one of our Circle B Reserve visits. On the path from the parking a snake and armadillo.

A slider turtle and can you find the gator?

A Red-shouldered Hawk.

Great Blue Heron on nest.

Sandhill Cranes moving along the burr marigolds.

Pretty Green Heron, a common sight at the Circle B Reserve.

As always thanks for the visits and the nice comments. I also thank everyone who is linking up and sharing their critters.. Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!

  16. Hi Eileen. With all those critters you hardly need any birds. I'd love to see an Armadillo and some of your North American turtles. That heron sure has an extra large nest and although the nest is very exposed I don't suppose much is going to make trouble for a Great Blue. Have alovely weekend and the week ahead and thanks for the chance to join in today.

  60. I always love birds at a feeder. Great shots of all the critters - and that turtle had better watch where it is going.

    ReplyDelete
  61. The armadillo is fun to see - Your photo reminds me of the first time I saw one "in the wild." They really are unusual critters, aren't they?

  62. Hello Eileen
I've just been watching a TV programme about Ospreys ... and for some reason I thought of a recent blog post of yours when I'm sure you had an Osprey?

But back to Saturday's post, some lovely photographs again. I do like the one with the Great Blue Heron on its nest, and also the Green Heron, such beautiful colouring.

I hope your weekend has been good - all best wishes for the coming new week ahead.

    All the best Jan

  66. Good morning, yep it's Monday but this is my Saturday! I really like armadillos and once while I was driving in Florida one ran right in front of my car, but he/she survived. Thank goodness! Enjoy your week Eileen!

    ReplyDelete
  67. An armadillo! My goodness, Eileen.. you have seen more critters in your lifetime than I think I will ever see in mine. I am so glad you started this meme so that I get to enjoy your world from afar. :) I had to search a bit, but I found that crocodile in spite of a rather fine job of camouflaging. Every photo was wonderful, but I especially liked the way the Blue Heron had wedged the nest so securely between the two tree trunks. Thank you so much and have a wonderful week!

    ReplyDelete
  68. For all but the snake I would gladly August watched and admired. Have a nice week.
