Especially armadillo!
Beautiful photos, as always!

A pretty "red head" woodpecker. I like the ruffled look of the owl. A sleepy Armadillo. Thank you, Eileen for hosting. Have a beautiful weekend!
Hi Eileen and thanks for hosting. Just yesterday I saw a pileated woodpecker behind our home. I love your pictures this morning.
lol, that´s a weird nest for the Horned owl. But I guess it works :)
Have a great week :)
The owl is my favourite today, those tufts, and what a place to nest. Guess when the lights are turned on, he/she will get some extra warmth.
Wow, what amazing treasures you have here! Love the woodpecker, the owl and the bittern.
Thanks again for hosting this week!

Dimi...
...an Armadillo is a sight that I see around here!
We certainly see eye-to-eye on favorite Florida birds.Am heading out this morning to look for bitterns!
A thoroughly modern Owl; choosing a 'loft' with an industrial decor.
And always fascinated by an Armadillo.
Happy Day.
Lovely photos as always, Eileen. That plieated woodpecker is something else!
Thanks for hosting.
Hi Eileen, you see so many interesting creatures. I love your American Bittern photo! Hope you have a good weekend.
LOL, we had a Pileated Woodpecker visit our yard last weekend while my brother was visiting us and it was like shock and awe for him when he saw him on our tree. "Look, look, look .....at that BIG BIRD." We see them all the time. It was like seeing him as a little child again, full of wonder. Have a great day.
Magnificas e belas fotografias.
Um bom fim-de-semana.

Wow -- that Pileated woodpecker is to die for! What a stunner!
We hear that owl even from our house in the evenings but I've never seen one in the wild. Enjoy your weekend! Hugs!
Great shot of the Pileated Woodpecker, something I have never been able to achieve. Enjoy your weekend.
Love the woodpecker!
Have a great week-end!
Excellent capture on the birds and armadillo! The whistling ducks remind me Theresa of run a round ranch… we miss her indeed, right? Great nesting by the owl on the lamp post
Happy Weekend Eileen :)
my favorite is the messy nest the owl is on. super shot. and love the armadillo to.
Your armidillo and bittern are super cute!!! Lovely photos Eileen, enjoy your weekend :)
You have the best birds, critters and blog visitors!
Good morning Eileen. I do love all of those photos but especially the American Bittern and the Armadillo. What a wonderful animal that is, and how useful to have all that armour against predators.
Thanks for the link today. Have a lovely Sunday.
When my kids were toddlers and we'd go for walks, my most pressing desire, was the teach them ... 'All life,' and they would finish, "Is precious."
Beautiful photos! I would love to see an owl in the wild. We do see hawks here pretty often. Have a wonderful weekend, Eileen!

Fabulous photos. Love the pileated, and also that armadillo!
Good morning Eileen, I like having the weekend off, for many reasons but also posting here on time with everyone! Great captures while you were out and about and that owl is my favorite. He appears to be doing some serious business too!
Beautiful series Eileen, have a nice weekend.
I love seeing those Whistlers. Wish we had them here. A nice series of images!
What a great post, Eileen! The Whistling Ducks remind me of Tex - I wonder how she is doing?
Your punk woodpecker is always nice to see!
Have a happy Sunday!
Hi Eileen! Such a fun sighting of the woodpecker and how neat to see the armadillo!
Great photos of each one of your critters!
Happy weekend!
Very nice ! Love the owl !
Wonderful shots. Armadillo looks cute. We don't have them in Poland.
I love those "Woody the Woodpecker" woodpeckers. I admit .... in all my years in Florida I've only seen a few and NEVER managed to have my camera with me when they were there. LOL
Great photos!
The woodpecker is gorgeous..as are the Whistling ducks..Have a great weekend..
Excellent shot of the Pileated woodpecker!!
But then again all the pictures are excellent.
The woodpecker is so bright and beautiful..
Great images!!!
Forgot part of what I intended to say...seeing the Whistlers made me homesick for Tex's blogging. When you see them, do you think of her?
Your photos of the pileated woodpeckers are always the best! My favorite in this series is the armadillo - Whatta cutie, is that possible?
Cool sighting of the Great Horned Owl nest upon the utility pole...and the Armadillo is wonderful. I haven't seen one down in FL since about the 70's.
I am going to try and catch up a little. Funny...I will get on here these past couple of weeks, be right on something, either typing, shopping, Face-booking and the next thing I know I have been asleep for two hours. I am nearly done with the heavy medications and so I feel better.
Have a wonderful week dear one~
Hoping you are enjoying your time away...I'm sure you are...and will return with more interesting pix! You've got both the skies and ground covered this week!!...:)JP
Always a Critter Treat . . .
Loved the Pileated Woodpecker and the
Whistler Ducks reminded me of
Run.A.Round.Ranch Report!
I love the woodpeckers!!!
Great photos, as always.
Your Woodpecker always amazes me. A handsome fellow he is. Ours looks a bit different here. Wow, I've never seen an armadillo that close-up before. Those whistling ducks are so sweet.
Nature is surely beautiful in November, isn't it?
~Sheri
You have some beautiful birds here Eileen, lovely photographs.
I think my favourite is the Pileated Woodpecker.
Sending my good wishes
All the best Jan
I've never seen an armadillo in real life. Thanks for your close-up shots.
Eileen - Do the ducks actually whistle? I was surprised to see the owl on a nest so out in the open - is that normal? Thanks for including the armadillo - I don't know why, but I have always thought they are cute ....
Great shots! I did not post critters yesterday because I did a Veterans Day post and then fell asleep on the couch!
Amazing shots. Love that first one!
The armadillo is quite a surprise!
Fantastic photos Eileen! Almost enough to open a zoo!
