Backyard Bird..Tufted Titmouse

I enjoy watching and feeding my backyard birds. The Tufted Titmouse is one of my year round backyard birds. The are a small songbird, they have a white face and a grey crest and a short stout bill.

They love the Black oil Sunflower seeds and peanuts.

This is my entry for Camera Critters and to see more cute critters visit

  6. What a neat bird. I learnt to "bird" in my backyard and now enjoy birding in the wilds because of the practice I had! Thanks for sharing this little guy. Have a great weekend. Blessings, Jo

  7. Great shot! We had one on our bird feeder the other day. My daughter said "mom look at this bird, it looks like a cardinal but smaller and not red". Now I can tell her what it was!

  16. One just showed up on my fire-escape (In NYC). It stared at my cat and gave a loud call. Such a strong audio level too--loud!, very charming animated bird. I hope that it comes back, my cat was THRILLED and so was I.
