Pine Warbler

For this weeks World Bird Wednesday I am showing off my pretty Pine Warbler. He is a bright yellow where as the female to me is a little olive brownish looking. I have been seeing this beauty during the winters for quite a few years. They are known to be residents from the Carolinas and south. I guess I am lucky to keep seeing this guy at my feeders.

I hope you enjoyed my Pine Warbler and to see more wonderful birds go and visit World Bird Wednesday

Thanks to Springman and thanks for visiting my blog.

This pine warbler looks a lot like our Yellow Warbler out west. Do you have the Yellow and the Wilson's there?

Great picture.

Nice shots of the Pine Warbler Eileen! He sure is bright isn't he? You have that bird cam set up nicely too. That is an excellent photo with him on the feeder.

Just amazing to see so much color. The ones we've seen here in Texas are very much duller - could it be we only have females?!

What a cute little bird. It is neat to see birds that normally aren't around here in the winter.

Such a bright yellow. I bet he lights up a garden when he visits.

Oooo you are lucky! I only get wee little warblers in the summer and migrating through in the spring/fall. I do love them but boy they sure do not like to sit still for a photo (without a feeder)!
Great photos and thanks for sharing!

I have never seen a Warbler in Michigan so I love seeing pictures of what I'm missing. I know the Kirtlands Warbler is close by me but they are still a rare sight.
