Florida skies

For this week's Good Fence and Skywatch Friday memes I am sharing more birds, skies and fences from Florida's east coast..Most of the photos were taken at the Cape Canaveral Seashore..

Don't you just love the pretty blues? The water and sky just a lovely sight..I wish I could enjoy this sight everyday.... I hope you enjoyed this series of skies, fences and birds...I just can not do a post without my birds, lol!

  16. love the moon shot, the eagle making a noise. i am not sure i have ever seen an eagle in mid noise shot? usually folks have them looking so regal. i prefer this look makes them look way cool. more personality. i enjoyed this post so. have a happy Thursday!! ( :

    You got a GREAT shot of that osprey. We have a nesting set about 30 miles from us in the middle of a wetlands. My camera cannot get in close enough. You really captured nice details....it was interesting for me to see it "up close"

  24. I do enjoy the beautiful blue skys and water ... and I understand the attraction to the birds. Great selection of them, I must say. Your moon shot is spectacular. May I ask what camera and lens you used for it. I am having serious trouble with my zoom lens and am starting to think about replacement. Great pictures, Eileen and I am curious if you know what the eagle is so angry about :)

  41. C'mon down Eileen! I'm sure the STate of Florida would love to have you year round. And right now, the traffic has died down, all the pesky snowbirds have gone back up north (except us, we stay longer and pretend we're locals!)

  60. One of the things I enjoy most about your posts are your birds! I have a pair of red shouldered hawks nesting in a tree in the woods behind my back yard right now. Fun to watch, but they are chasing all my other birds away!

  63. Your moon shot just blows me away! I am having a "Grandma Camp" this summer and was hoping to study the moon with the kids when we go for a night hike. We'd be in heaven if we saw something this spectacular!
    And the bald eagle pair - wow! What a lovely shot - it's as if it were posed!

Sometimes I see eagles flying around here and there will be smaller birds circling around them but they seem to be smart enough not to get too close to the eagles.
