  1. Hi Eileen
I really liked that shot of the Ospreys lined up on the telephone poles. Great shot!
I saw that once with crows on posts surrounding a field-I don't know what it is about that, but just think it's neat.
    Have a great weekend

  15. I've been thinking about a drive to Lake Opopka. It's a bit of a stretch. You recommend? How was the hiking, if you managed to get any in? Enjoyed your shots.

    1. Hello, we did not have a lot of time for a hike. We mainly did the 11 mile wildlife drive, I would recommend visiting Lake Apopka.

  16. Dearest Eileen; Great photographs of Osprey with prey and lining up on the electric poles♪ The Japanese name of "Anhinga”is ”ヘビウ・ snake Cormorant"; wondered makes any sense or not and checked p:-) The etymology of the name is from its way of swimming in the water with long neck looks like snake(♡^.^♡)

  32. We see so many beautiful birds in this part of Florida. When I walk in the evenings I usually see herons, egrets and ibis among others. I just looked at your other post and saw the coral snake...very scary! We've never seen one but we've seen other poisonous snakes in swampy areas. I'm enjoying your photos my friend. Hugs, Diane
