Florida 2016 continues

Hello,

I still have lots of photos from our Florida visit, birding highlights were from Lakeland,  Circle B Bar Reserve and the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. I hope you enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed your visit. I appreciate your nice comments. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!

Here is a list of linky parties for part of the week, I hope to see you there. I have a few fence and my deck railing for Tex's Party and some pretty sky shots.

Thanks to Theresa @ The Run*A*Round Ranch for hosting Good Fences.
Thank you to Sylvia, Yogi and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday.

Hi Eileen
I really liked that shot of the Ospreys lined up on the telephone poles. Great shot!
I saw that once with crows on posts surrounding a field-I don't know what it is about that, but just think it's neat.
Have a great weekend

Hello,

Wonderful photos of the birds!
Last week we watched a Great Grey Heron, and that's really rare here.
The Opsrey are so beautiful.

Happy Thursday!

What is that in the birds claws? Is it some remaining prey?

I've been thinking about a drive to Lake Opopka. It's a bit of a stretch. You recommend? How was the hiking, if you managed to get any in? Enjoyed your shots.

Dearest Eileen; Great photographs of Osprey with prey and lining up on the electric poles♪ The Japanese name of "Anhinga”is ”ヘビウ・ snake Cormorant"; wondered makes any sense or not and checked p:-) The etymology of the name is from its way of swimming in the water with long neck looks like snake(♡^.^♡)

Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*

Hello, we did not have a lot of time for a hike. We mainly did the 11 mile wildlife drive, I would recommend visiting Lake Apopka.

We see so many beautiful birds in this part of Florida. When I walk in the evenings I usually see herons, egrets and ibis among others. I just looked at your other post and saw the coral snake...very scary! We've never seen one but we've seen other poisonous snakes in swampy areas. I'm enjoying your photos my friend. Hugs, Diane

Amazing. Do you pay these birds to pose for you? :))

One thing for sure, you do not use a point and shoot camera. You do excellent work with your camera and share great sights.

I did not realize ospreys are impressive birds. I will be in Fla next week, although I bet the only birds I see are the ones in the Tiki Room.

You find some good sized birds for this post. Ospreys always fascinate me a little bit. We don't get them (I think) here in Oklahoma. We have lots of great blue herons though.
