Walking the trail

Hello

Wow, do you believe it is September? I wish I could slow time down, summer has flown by. I am sharing another one of our walks on the NCR trail and a few sky shots from home.

While walking on the bike trail I am always on the look out for birds. I am not sure but this bird below looks like a cowbird?

The NCR trail at Bentley Springs, some wildflowers along the trail and the Bee Tree Creek.

Our shadow shot includes a fence shadow, A Monarch, bunny and a Tufted Titmouse.

On the drive home from the trail we pass by this farm, they have the cutest donkeys. I captured one barn for Tom's Barn Collective.

I love these donkeys, they are so cute!

"The time you enjoy wasting, is not wasted time." Bertrand Russell

I enjoy spending my time skywatching! Our sunsets have not been the greatest, the skies have been clear. I managed to find some colors in the sky on this day.

The moon setting on Aug 25th.

As always I hope you enjoyed your visit and my post. I appreciate your nice comments. Enjoy your day and the weekend ahead!

Here is a list of linky parties for part of the week, I hope to see you there. I have a few fence and my deck railing for Tex's Party and some pretty sky shots.

Thanks to Theresa @ The Run*A*Round Ranch for hosting Good Fences.
Thank you to Sylvia, Yogi and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday.
Thanks to Tom the host of The Barn Collective

Hi Eileen,
indeed it is already September, the month of autumn * gulp *!
Beautiful pictures show you. I unfortunately forgot to Saturday to link the cross basin in your post. I was busy with work and forgot about it. Sorry but this weekend I'm going to link the crossbills post still with you.
Greetings, Helma

Some fine fence shots for Good Fences Eileen.:) I counted four, and like them all. Love the trail fence, and the nature images of flowers and the Catbird, and the donkeys in the field fence shot, and barn image, and the cheerful shadow shot. Great stuff!:)

How true is that quote Eileen. I'll remember that next time Sue tells me I'm wasting my time going birding. I like the happy shadows and of course the cowbird. I'm sure it is - a young one?

Enjoy your Friday even though as you say, it's September already.

Some beautiful photos Eileen. I would agree that the bird is a female cowbird. I've had them gathering at my birdfeeder with the blackbirds this week...they'll be migrating soon too. I've seen the farm of donkeys on your blog before, and I just love the setting of that place. The donkeys are adorable ;)
