Saturday's Critters # 507

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

Hello and happy Saturday!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

September already and I am still sharing photos of the birds and critters seen in Ireland. Leaving Dingle, we drove along the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and were heading to our next place to stay in Killarney.

1.  May 13th Another stop was for lunch, we stopped in Portmagee, hubby and I had a nice lunch in the Skellig Seafront Cafe. We walked around the coastal town being followed by a cute kitty, it is a nice village with pretty views. You can catch a boat tour here to the Skellig Islands which is a UNESCO Heritage site.

While we were walking along the harbor I noticed the Rook's nest , a group collecting in the tree top is called a rookery.

I watched these two Black Guillemot or are they called Common Murre floating in the Portmagee harbor.

Thanks to YAM and Margaret for the Black Guillemot confirmation.

A walk among the sheep, is someone on the wrong side of the fence?

Our driver/guide made an extra stop at the Kerry Cliffs, it is similar to the Cliffs of Moher with gorgeous scenic views.  It was hard deciding which way to walk on the cliffs, to the right or left.  I went left and hubby went to the right.

Next to our parking area we enjoyed these cute critters.  These two donkeys looked like they were hugging each other, very cute.

I love the cute alpacas, there were three different colored alpacas standing close together.

The Killarney National Park  was the last stop for the day before heading to our lodging for the next two nights in Killarney.

I believe this is a Grey Wagtail, we saw this bird near the Torc Waterfall in the Killarney National Park.

I hope you enjoyed these photos from Ireland. Thank you for sharing your critters and post!

Thanks to all my visitors and for your past and present comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves and respects wildlife. Thank you for linking up a critter post.

Eileen another great selection of photographs from your trip to Ireland These AUK are Black Guillemot NOT Common Guillemot and it is a Grey Wagtail indeed Always a lovely bird to see and it is not seen all that often here. Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a lovely week ahead.

You really did see some wonderful sights on that trip - The white patch on the seabird says it is Cepphus Grylle, known here as the Black Guillemot and which I think in America is also called Guillemot; while its close relative is Uria aalge, with no wing patch, which is the one I believe in America is called the Murre... does that help? YAM xx

Awww, that kitty!
And I love sheep. So long ago since I saw them.
We even had a "chats" with them when Ingo still lived in the village, so cute.
And donkeys... so cute. I read a true story about a family who adopted one, hilarious! Such sweet, clever animals, if stubborn.
I´d love to touch an alpaca...
Yes, I did enjoy immensly, thank you for sharing and have a wonderful Saturday!

Dear Eileen,
I think in Ireland you never really know where the right side of the fence is ;-DDD Reading your post today brought back many beautiful memories of Ireland. And I'm very happy about the sight of the animals - especially the cute alpacas, donkeys and sheep ❤️
I wish you a wonderful September!

Yes, I`m late again, dear Eileen. Our weekend was very busy. But for me it`s important to read each post with enough time, to appreciate the work in it.

I love the little donkeys too. It´s such a sweet scene indeed. They are typical for Ireland. And of course some other critters. But the donkeys have an importance there for the tourists now and in the history for the farm work.

Thank you for hosting.
Have a very good week, hugs by Heidrun
