Saturday's Critters # 560

Welcome to Saturday's Critters! Hello and Happy Saturday!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I am skipping all around with my posts, sharing photos and outings I have not shared yet. These are all photos from my yard and deck, the local fire road and the nearby lake.

A juvenile Red-bellied Woodpecker stopped in for a meal.

One of the many bunnies in our yard.

These are from a walk on our local fire road trail, we heard two Barred Owls calling. I could only find one. Also in the mosaic are the Brown Thrasher, Blue Jay and the Peacock.

Below, the Swallowtail butterflies are loving our butterfly bushes.

A walk to our local lake, I saw a mama deer with her fawn. I like the reflection on the lake.

A Thrush, maybe a young Wood Thrush?

The Downy Woodpecker is a regular visitor to my deck, they like the peanut suet balls.

These images take me to the end of my July images, more of my Alaska trip photos to come soon.

I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday  I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.

Thanks to all my visitors and for your past and present comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves and respects wildlife. Thank you for linking up a critter post.

Here is my linky:

Thank you for sharing your critters and post!

  1. Hi Eileen, First of all, your new header image is just great. I enjoyed all the photos from your yard and deck and truly admire your location. 😊 Looking forward to more of your Alaska photos. We continue to have a lot of wildfire smoke in the Seattle skies. Climate change is hitting us hard. Thanks for sharing and hosting and wishing you and hubby a happy weekend. John

So many beautiful animals in your immediate surroundings, from deer and bunnies to wonderful butterflies and a rich bird life - I think you live close to paradise...

The photos you took of the mama deer and her fawn at your local lake, melt my heart! The reflections are beautiful! The fawn is adorable still sporting its spots. I have noticed many fawns around my area this year and have noticed that as summer progresses, their spots are slowly disappearing.
