Saturday's Critters # 570

Welcome to Saturday's Critters! Hello and Happy Saturday!

If you love all God's creatures like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

These photos are from our Aug 21-22 visit to Delaware and the Bombay Hook NWR. This wildlife refuge always seem to have lots of birds. Some are birds are breeders and some are just visiting. My first post for this getaway is here Black-bellied Whistling Ducks in Delaware .

1. Top left American Goldfinch, possible juvenile Cooper's Hawk, Yellowlegs, Monarch Butterfly, juvenile Little Blue Heron, I am guessing the last bottom right is an Eastern Phoebe.

2. Bombay Hook NWR is always a good place to see the American Avocets.

3. Blue Grosbeak looking handsome.

Eastern Kingbird and the top photo includes an American Goldfinch.

4. Various shorebirds, I see a few Black-bellied Plovers.

5. Various shots of the Great Egrets, there may be some Snowy Egrets mixed in.

6. We did not have to go to Florida to see the Sandhill Cranes, these two spent most of the summer at Bombay Hook NWR.

7. Sandhill Crane couple.

8. These two birds caused a traffic jam on the wildlife drive.

9. Great Blue Heron with lunch.

10. Avocets, Great Egret and possibly Dunlins in flight.

I hope you enjoyed my photos from Bombay Hook NWR, it is one of my favorite places to see the wildlife.

Bonus image: my two grandsons were dinosaurs for Halloween. They looked so cute!

Hubby and I have both been sick this week, so I have missed visiting blogs this week. I hope we are both back to normal, it's not fun being sick.

I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday  I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.

Thanks to all my visitors and for your past and present comments. Stop back to see any replies to your comments. I appreciate everyone who loves and respects wildlife. Thank you for linking up a critter post.
