Welcome to Saturday's Critters! Hello and Happy Saturday!

Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

"In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." John Muir

Click on images for better viewing.

I am sharing a mish-mash of photos, my back yard birds and our dog Miney, the neighborhood Peacock, views from the fire road walks and the bike trail walk. I can hear a FOY Eastern Phoebe calling in my yard too, no photos yet.

1. At this time our weather was finally warming up some, Spring still seems far off, the scenery of bare trees and fallen leaves on the fire road walk with Miney. The Prettyboy reservoir is still low due to the drought.

2. On some of our busier days, I just take Miney for a walk up and down our street.  She is happy still lots of smells around.

3. My backyard birds, are the Blue Jay and the Cardinals. They are always looking for the peanut nuggets.

4. At the NCR trail, the sled dogs are finished their run and getting ready to go back into their transport vehicle.

5. Scenes from our walk on the NCR Bike trail. The sled dogs were packing up to go home, we saw some icicles hanging off a boulder along the trails. Our weather has up and down like a yo-yo, warms days and still some very cold days.

6. There were lots of Canada Geese hanging out on the Friendly Farm Ponds. There were some ducks but too far away to see which species.

7. The Peacock will come up on our deck sometimes, looking for food or just to hang out.

8. The male Pine Warbler has found my feeders. I've been hearing them calling a lot lately.  They are breeding in the forest around our home.

9. The tarp covering our wood piles gets blown around in the high winds we were having.  The Peacock loves to sit on the wood pile.

Bonus image, one of our birthday gifts to the grandsons was a little jeep they could ride in. I think they love it. It is an outside ride, but my son just put it together.

I am linking up to Heidrun's Mosaic Monday   I hope you can stop by and visit Heidrun and check out the Mosaic Monday post.

Miney is cute and oh, your backyard birds, so pretty! I once saw sleg dogs in snow - it was pretty amazing. Love your pretty Peacock - just whom does he want to impress on your deck - you? They do this for that matter, right? Begging for food?
Such a pretty green on the Pine Warbler. You are so lucky with your Peacock - thank you for sharing him! Wow, too, on the Jeep! And the happy faces.
Have a great Saturday, Eileen.

Dear Eileen, I enjoyed going for a walk with you and Miney again and admiring your backyard birds. The peacock displayed its magnificent tail feathers – wow! How wonderful that there are sled dogs in your area – I imagine they use sleds in the winter too? It's so sweet to see all your grandchildren together in the birthday jeep – such an adorable bunch!

Hello Eileen :)
Your grandchildren showing their happy faces in the jeep is a super photo. What a great present you gave them. It's good to see Miney out walking on the Fire Road, your photos are enriched with the autumn like colours, and the shadows of you both. You captured the peacock's feathers on glorious display
and your yard birds very well- It was a nice surprise to see the photo of the sled dogs and the Pine Warblers.

Eileen I have messed up my link, Could you please help me get it right. Many thanks for linking me up last week and this week if possible.
All the best

Cute photo of the grandsons! Must be exciting when the Peacock comes to visit. It's a gorgeous bird. Exciting to see the Pine Warblers. I live around too many people to see the forest and country birds, and it is nice to see your photographs. Give Miney a good scratching on her rump for me. .
