Another mish-mash post, photos from my walks with hubby and Miney.  Some back yard birds, the warblers were on the move south. I had a few stop in my yard to eat the berries.

1. Below are a couple of my backyard birds seen Sept 14th, the male Northern Cardinal and bottom row is a Cape May Warbler.

2. Cape May Warblers are enjoying the berries in our yard.  I love to see these birds return each Fall to eat some of our berries.

3. At Prettyboy, a walk with Miney while Merlin records the birds being heard.

4. A walk on the fire road, I could see the lake

mud through the trees. In the distance I could see one Great Blue heron and a flock of Canada Geese.

In my back yard I notice three Cedar Waxwings in a tree top, they stopped to eat some of berries in the side yard.

5. NCR trail with Miney and Hubby. We saw some late blooming flowers. A Black Swallowtail butterfly. Miney was checking out the book in the free library.

6. Sept 17th, I was still seeing a couple of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds at my feeder.

7. While walking on the NCR bike trail, I noticed a woman trying to move this tiny Ring-necked Snake off the trail. She was afraid it would be run over by a bike.  It was a teeny-tiny snake, my fingers are larger than this snake.

8. Hubby, Miney and I enjoyed a 2 mile round trip walk on the NCR bike trail.  The Caroline Wrens were singing loudly and I notice an American Redstart hopping around a tree while we were resting at a picnic table.

Bonus Images of the grandkids and their Halloween decorations.

Update on hubby Michael, he did well with the Heart Catheterization procedure. They did find one of three arteries to the heart was over 90% blocked, two stents had to be put in to open the artery. Now he will add blood thinner medicine to all the other meds he takes. He has to go back in 6 months for another Heart Echo test for follow up.
