Linking up with NF Winged and Skywatch Friday
My shot of the moon with satellite dish in the way, I love the pretty blue evening sky.
My moon shot on Jan 9, I love my camera..SOOC..no extra lenses and handheld..
A flock of Canada Geese flying over the yard and house.. Hubby has been seeing large groups of the geese hanging out at the lake.
Not sure why, but I love the wing spread on the Turkey Vulture shot over our lake. I have been seeing the Turkey & Black Vultures roosting in the trees next to our house. I think they know where the hunters leave the deer caucus.
To see more pretty skies from around the world please visit Skywatch Friday
and to see more of the winged critters check out NF Winged
Thanks to Sylvia, Yogi and Sandy for hosting Skywatch Friday! Thanks to Monica the host of NF Winged. I wish everyone a safe and happy long weekend.

What an evocative photo of the turkey vulture, Eileen! Magical!
ReplyDeleteThe first and third image are really special to me. I love the light and solitude in them. Really special. The Moon image is a stand out. Very good quality and details.
ReplyDeleteWonderful moon shots!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing if you took both your moon shots with the same camera. It is very nice detail in the second moon one, but nicer atmosphere in the first!
ReplyDeleteFascinating images - I particularly love the pics of the moon and the flock of geese flying in fabulous formation. How did you capture the craters of the moon ?

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful, dark blue evening sky! I like the to see the wing span of the vultures, too, and the way they float through the air.
ReplyDeleteWe always see turkey vultures when we go to Arkansas in Feb/March. They do eat up all of the 'messes' left!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of the moon. I get our satellite dish in our photos sometimes too!!!! ha
Hugs,
Betsy
Oh what a pretty shot of the big moon! The moon was so pretty last night when I was still in town and I wanted to get a photo but didn't have my camera with me. I probably need a longer lens to get a good shot, though.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo of the moon!! I can see why you love your camera :))
ReplyDeleteThe geese, either a skein, a team or a wedge, when spread out, and if close together a plump, love those terms, and a super photo to go with them. Down here we see gulls or starlings in flight together, sometimes swallows. Have a fine day with good weather, Cheers from Jean
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, I always like to see the geese flying in their great V formations
ReplyDeleteWow that moon shot is fabulous.

ReplyDeleteYour second photo of the moon is amazing -- I've never been able to get a hand-held shot that good. I also like your photo of the turkey vulture in flight.

Dearest Eileen;
ReplyDeleteWow Wow; these magnificent moon shots are SOOC!!! I felt amazing, my husband said that your camera must have high power magnification of a lens. Haha, we need to learn more.
I wish I could see vultures with my own eyes(*^_^*)
Sending you lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
