Here are a few of my favorite ducks..seen at Edwin Forsythe NWR. Above is the pretty Northern Pintail.




Another one of my favorites is the Hooded Merganser. I hope your enjoy my ducks and I hope you enjoy the critter party.


The Common Loon were plentiful at the Barnegat Beach.



The Red-breasted Merganser, they have a shaggy crest..

Ducks always remind me of when my children were young and would go to the park with their stale bread and feed the ducks. They loved it.

I love those hooded mergansers and would enjoy seeing them in person. All of your captures are lovely as well, Eileen.

The hooded merganser is a unique looking duck. This summer I'm going to pay more attention to the ducks on our inland lake and see if I can identify some.

I always love to see your duck photos Eileen. While Merganzers are one of my favorites it's the Pintails that have caught my eye. I have never seen those here.

Really turn a beautiful blog with various fantasitsche ducks. The pintail ducks, I also jog never actually seen but the Hooded Merganser not. The large mergansers I have seen and for the first time the red-breasted merganser. Very nice blog Eileen :-)
