More Bombay Hook NWR
I am linking up with Skywatch Friday and Good Fences
I hope you can join in on the fun and share your fence scenes and pretty skies.
Hello, I am sharing more images from our daytrip to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. I have some fence scenes with the birds and some sky shots starting with our sunrise.
Before leaving on our outing I saw a pretty pink sunrise and the moon setting over our house.
Now, we are at Bombay Hook NWR in Delaware enjoying a Glossy Ibis skywatch.
A pretty sky, white puffy clouds and Egrets everywhere.
An Egret fence, I believe most of them are the Great Egrets. Except I cut off a Great Blue Heron on the right side of the photo.
Another view of the Egret fence with the Great Blue Heron crashing their party.
Sorry these are not the best photos taken thru my car window but above is a Great Blue Heron perched on a fence near the Finnis Pool, Bombay Hook NWR.
It really was an Egret day, the few dark spots in the grasses are the Glossy Ibis, click for a larger image and better view.
And last but not least is the moon taken on Aug 7th. I hope you enjoyed my fence and sky shots and the birds of Bombay Hook NWR. Thanks in advance for stopping by and for your nice comments.
