Saturday's Critters #181

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

If you love critters like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I am sharing some backyard birds and some of our local breeding birds in the woods around our home.

A red-bellied woodpecker sharing some peanut nuggets with a chipmunk on our deck railing.

A closer look at the chipper.

The Scarlet Tanager can be heard and seen from my deck sometimes.

We have our own Great Blue Heron rookery in the woods across from our driveway. You would not believe the crazy sounds they make sometimes.

A close look at the Scarlet Tanager, they breed in the tree tops in the woods next to our home.

A fussy thru the window shot of my male Ruby-throated Hummingbird.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and for all the wonderful comments! I hope you enjoy my post and photos too!

Happy Saturday, have a great weekend!

  2. wonderful wildlife around your house. Love the look of the beautiful The Scarlet Tanager.

10 min ago I spotted a squirrel on my balcony on the third floor. It was investigating the curtains I have for sun/heat protection. It´s hot up here sometimes. It did not get through the curtains this time. But now I know it might happen so can´t leave the door open too much.
